It's our time!
Men, it's our time. We don't have time to waste.
1.-Read Rom.13:8-14 and copy down one verse or phrase onto your MP3 card that especially grabs you and enrich us with it as well. It's our time to live MANLY lives, not to waste them in just going through the same ol' same ol'- going off to work, coming home to eat, watch TV, go to sleep. Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat and then go to church on Sunday. Ugh! That is not what Jesus has commissioned us to do. He has sent us to be an unstoppable army to advance his kingdom. It's our time. We have a war to fight. That's why we need to put on the armor of light. The enemy has lulled many Christian men to sleep when they are most needed. We need to wake them and enlist them so they can be trained and activated to fight the good fight. It's our time to multiply our lives. So this past week we've been especially reminded to enrich one or more men whom you would like to enlist into M3. They will be your legacy. They will end up making you a spiritual great, great grandfather. Look at the GREAT scoreboard. On the far right you'll see the men who have already recruited others. Pros, you graduate from basic training when you have recruited at least one other man to M3 and you have earned your Unstoppable award pin. Go get em!
2.-So who was the man you shared with and what did you pass on to enrich him?
Keep enriching your prospects on a weekly basis. Plants grow when they are regularly watered. Perhaps pick a day of the week that will be your day to send out enriching emails. It's been said that such simple routines enable even an ordinary man to outperform a disorganized genius.
We dare not lose sight of our mission- to multiply MANLY men.

We are about building manly men. A man is fooling himself if he thinks he's manly and he doesn't even keep his commitments. Pastor James MacDonald in his book, Act Like Men, makes it clear that a real man keeps his commitments. He isn't an excuse maker. He gets the job done, no matter what. The godly man, "Keeps his oaths, even when it hurts." Ps.15:4 (even if hurts to lose sleep, he keeps his commitment of No scripture, no sleep. God and His word is his highest priority.)
I'm pleased to honor the following men who have kept their commitments, who were unstoppable for the week of April 13-17-
Alex, Antonio, Armando, Chuy, Dave, Eddie, George D, George R. Jack, James, John, Mike, Phil, Ricardo, Robert, Roger, Sam, Vince (and Andre joined us in the middle of the week). Way to go men! You are great examples and the Bible says to honor such men. Thus, I want to do this each week. I will normally do this on Monday's though. So hopefully you'll see your name here again this coming Monday for this week of April 20-24. Be unstoppable!
Speaking of honoring you for being unstoppable, a week from this Sunday, May 3rd at 3;00, we will be honoring Pros who have earned their unstoppable award pin by being unstoppable with us for an entire month straight. (If you didn't achieve this, I bet you will by our June meeting. We are here to help you succeed.) At our meeting, I also will be introducing a special new focus. I also need your input on some important things. So make sure you're there. If work or being out of town prevents you from being there, make sure to call me ASAP. Thanks!
Again, thank you to all of you who have been so faithful. Just last week Friday, we all reaffirmed our commitment to be daily in God's word and sharing with the team. Unfortunately, there are a number who were MIA yesterday. If they are in your fire team, would you please give them a call and encourage/urge them on? Thank you. They are- Andre, Chuy,Guillermo, Israel, James, Oscar and Vince.
1 " let no debts remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law." Roman13:8
ReplyDeleteLove your neighbor as thyself and always let others feel love from your heart as they will be led to follow you as disciples -- just like Christ did. We can build our soldiers through love and perseverance
Did it
2. Ged, Andre, paul,
Jack thank you for your faithfulness to God and starting us out today with your encouragement to love and persevere. Have a blessed day.
DeleteGreat verse you chose. I had to use it myself. Good job leading the way. I don't how you and Roger get up so early. Early bird gets the word :). Good job leading by example. Have a blessed day.
DeleteI like those very good words Jack- "always let others feel love from your heart...We can build our soldiers through love and perseverance."
DeleteJack you are such a good example and encouragement to us all thank you God bless.
Delete1. Rom 13:14 "But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires."
ReplyDeleteWhat a great exhortation we find in this verse, that we as followers of the true lliving God are suppose to live in close fellowship with Him so that we leave no room for our fleshly desires to influence us and separate us from God.
2. I shared the video of 'why I am not a catholic' with my friend Alfredo and spent time talking to him and giving him guidance as he goes through some hard times in his life. Always pointing to God as the source of my hope in this world.
Thanks for sharing with him and sharing that with us Roger. You are a good model for men to follow. Phileo!
DeleteI agree with Dave you are a good model of a man to follow please keep up the good work Amen!
DeleteRomans 13:14
ReplyDelete"Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh." If we could be more like Jesus Christ the world would be a better place. He truly loved us.
2. Oscar and Ken
Very true George! Loved us so much he gave his life for us.
DeleteGood George. Would love to hear more about what you shared with them. Thanks for being faithful on the blog even when you are out of state.
DeleteGood choice of verses there George! Much love brother!
DeleteGeorge, we think alike, I picked the same verse.

ReplyDelete1.Romans 13:9 ESV For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” This verse shows how important it is to love someone. Especially those who are lost. We got to remember to witness to people with a loving heart even tho people may reject what we have to say or even make us mad with their words.
ReplyDelete2. Elijah and Javi
Thanks James
DeleteWay to reach out James! Would enjoy hearing more of what you shared with these guys. May the Lord continue to fill and flow through you.
DeleteThat is the same verse that i chose James! Good stuff brother! I think love is the solution to a lot of our problems.
DeleteMan brother so glad your on Team Jesus and following the call that the Lord has for you and going forward with his mission.
DeleteGood morning Romans 13:8
ReplyDeleteLet no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
I guess this verse stands out to a lot of us but to me it's what I strive for.
I have not encouraged many others other than my daughters, and you guys which is where I'm learning at, I have not attempted to recruit anyone because I myself am not ready to do that, I'm still trying to work with myself and in the mean time share my experiences. I read that brother roger shared "why I'm not a catholic" but I tried tobsgarebit with my wife and it did not go well. I have to confess that I feel resentful and angry but I know where I stand and where my faith is at, I need a lot of encouragement to learn how to deal with this. Thanks
That can be so discouraging Guillermo. I'm glad we already have started to communicate about such earlier this morning and look forward to talking with you more when you are free. Even Jesus was rejected at times- the One full of grace and truth and perfect love. Persevere my brother. There is still reason for great hope in God.
DeleteBrother I feel where your coming from, when we meet I'll love to share with you my testimony. My number is at the contact list, call me if you like to. As pastor Mark says Guillermo you are at the right place at the right time with your brothers here in 3M. Praying for you and your family.
DeleteThanks Armando I will try to contact everyone as best I can thanks again
DeleteWe are here to encourage and lift each other. You have our contacts brother.
Delete1) Romans 13:8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
ReplyDelete1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (ESV)
13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails...
I pray that I and my M3 brothers continue to seek your word and show love to others, just like you did for us.
2) I share and encourage with my MP3 verses and videos with LLoyd Jones, Mike Garcia, Oscar Nunez (M3),Toni Henderson, Gino Perez and recently added Mike Johnson, Rigo Trejo and Arturo Garza.
Outstanding Sam!!! I know you're busy too, yet you make time for enriching several others. What a great model you are to the others. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. You will end up with a harvest of multiplying manly men.!
DeleteGood verses brother Sam, your love shines, bless you
DeleteThanks Sam 1 Corinthians 13-4-8 I have heard many times and God talks to me but I can't seem to comprehend properly I dislike not understanding
Delete1.-Read Rom.13:8-14 and copy down one verse or phrase onto your MP3 card that especially grabs you and enrich us with it as well. Romans 13:12 "The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light." This verse is the proclamation of the imminent time when Satan's present sinful reign will end and the beginning of a new life with Jesus Christ in His glorious reign. A reminder, be prepare and ready, this time will be as quickly as the blink of a eye. 2.- Every morning I share my MP3 card and video with my boys on the drive taking them to school. I want their day to start right and to spiritually nourish their minds. This also spiritually enriches me and starts my day right. I see my oldest son Nik as a future M3 brother, my son Cris is younger and still a work in progress. "God is good"
ReplyDeleteYes Armando. I too think it would be good to have your son Nick on board.
DeleteWho else could you add to your list of men to enrich and hopefully enlist?
Brother Armando you are good father and God will bless you for all you do for them.
DeleteHave shared with co-worker Larry, a believer who doesn't attend church, we talk of God, scripture quite often, Frank

ReplyDeleteWhen i read that i had to stop and read it again. Wow! What a profound verse, i love it!
This week i reached out to 2 men, Michael Johnson and Jose Gomez. They both attend New Life. I sent Jose a couple of the videos and i send them both the daily verse off of my MP3 card with an encouraging text. I dont think that they are ready to join just yet but i will continue to try to lead by example, pray, and share the Good news with them.
LOL :-D Brother Philip, right back at ya, love you too brother! It's the kindred Spirit that we share as children of The Most High! Keep up the great work, God bless you :-)
DeleteExcellent Phil! I love your encouraging words to Robert as well. Anyone who enlists under you is going to have a very encouraging coach!
DeleteGreat job encouraging others. I think both of us are sowing and watering seeds with Mike. I have him in my blue book mentoring class on Tuesdays.
DeleteBesides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed. - Romans 13:11
ReplyDeleteWhen we struggle with everyday life we have to remember that our faith is what go us to this point and sometimes we have to wake up everyday and share the word with others that we love.
2) Steve walker, Don
So glad you are a part of M3 Andre and already reaching out to other men. Way to go!
DeleteI like that you said " we have to remember that our faith is what go us to this point". Very true. God bless.
DeleteYes the time has come for us to speak of the word of God to all who will hear so they can
ReplyDeletesee how much God loves them and we should all love each other like he loves us.
Thanks for the recent call back John. May the Lord open up doors for you to talk with various men. You've got something and Someone worth sharing!
DeleteJohn great words for us to follow.... to love others like God loves us.
DeleteJust getting back to the states. And really fired up. God is really moving in Cuba. Talk about MANLY Men who are stepping up to the plate leading their families and being the change in their communities and taking hold of a country in the name of Jesus. So awesome. It's a real time view and illustration of the book of acts. Discipleship, missionaries, church plants, fruitful works. There's a wildfire spreading in a once spiritually dry country!
ReplyDelete1. Yes, let us put on the Lord Jesus Christ and fulfill the law, loving others.
Missed you guys. But the church is alive in the world and it's exciting to meet the church y los hermanos en la fe!
Be encouraged brothers. Jesus is alive and well.
welcome back Eddie! How wonderful to hear about what's going on in Cuba! Please share more with all of us next Sunday, May 3rd, at our M3 mtg. Thanx!

ReplyDeleteRomans 13:14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
2.-So who was the man you shared with and what did you pass on to enrich him?
I've sent some text messages with encouraging verses to people in my Tuesday small group and talked to a Christian at work who attends another church. This line from the video hit home with me - “You say you’re not well versed ready or able, I think Moses even tried to use that fable.” I need to get outside of my comfort zone and do things to spread the word to more people.
Lord, help us to get outside our comfort zones and to push past whatever obstacles we face that prevent us from reaching out to our local world for you.
DeleteRomans 13:8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
ReplyDeleteGreat Video. May the video ignite the church. I believe that God is moving powerfully in the church today. God please wake up men to hear your voice and answer your call.

ReplyDeleteSelected MP3 verse > Romans 13:11 And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.
We should be alert, observant and in touch with what God is doing in our lives and the lives of those around us.
We should not merely be passive observers but seek opportunities where we can have intentional godly influence in the lives or others. The time to make a mark that will last for eternity is now .
I've been encouraging Bob Alagna to consider joining M3. He has expressed an interest in it. I've shared with him the M3 websites in a few emails. The last thing I shared via email was the 7 reasons why I am not Roman Catholic. We've tried to arrange times to talk on the phone about M3 but have not successfully connected yet.
Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. (Romans 13:13 NIV)
ReplyDeleteIt indeed is our time and the time is now. Indeed that we are also in the last days.
ReplyDelete2 Tim 3:1-5
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
I wrote verse 11

ReplyDeleteTherefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
Therefore put to death slander, gossip, malice, selfish desires, anything that is unrighteous to God but do what is pleasing to God. For the spirit and flesh are always against each other. I pray we & myself continually pray and trust in Him...
Sorry, I misunderstood or read it incorrectly. I was trying to enrich and pass on videos to non believers. Have not received a response but do pray that God's hand is at work yo those he has predestined.
1. The verse that I liked from the reading was Romans 13:9 "The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”"
ReplyDelete2. I shared my list of MP3 verses (nearly 2 full pages worth of verses) with my brother Augie.

ReplyDeleteRomans 13:9 NIV
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
the word covet hit home. Although I try to live in contentment, unconsciously the flesh sometimes gets the best of me when I "replay" in my head where should be at my age... I pray that I am where God has me and I will find favor in Him.
1) love is therefore the fulfillment of the law. I think many times people see love as simply being kind to others, but it is more then that, it submits to all of Gods commands. It actively lives out in practical means the directives of God, It passionately runs from what God has banned. To love God is to be like Him, to love what He loves and to hate what He hates. If God is love, then love is just, love is honest, love uncovers the secret sin, love encourages repentance and perseverance, love causes pain that brings positive beneficial change. Love seeks the best available for the beloved and the best is receiving Gods forgiveness to live out Gods character.
ReplyDelete2) I still need to talk to Roque.
Amen brother, the words you put down are truly a definition of LOVE.
DeleteLove does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law. (Romans 13:10 NLT)
ReplyDeleteAmen men Daniel. Keep growing in God and you will see His great wonders.
Delete1. romans 13:13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drukenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. This verse is simple but powerful. If everyone was to act decently towards each other, the world would be a much more peaceful and loving place. There would never be slavery, there would never be cheating husbands and wives, there wouldn't be wars, and there wouldn't be the poor.
ReplyDelete1-Romans 13:10 "Love does no harm to it's neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." I have to admit at times I find hard to follow the Commandment to love one another especially when I am driving. I am working on that part of my life. We have to love one another as God loves us. He does not have special condition. Imagine if everyone love one another in the world how the world would be. We would not need Police, Attorneys or Judges, only God. But God gives us free will and that's why we need Police, Attorneys and Judges
ReplyDelete2- I have been talking to my thirty four year old son about the ways of God as well as encouraging him to join a group. I explain to him how things work for his group as well as other groups. He has to make his own decision how what way he wants to go. He is a grown man but he will always be my little boy.
